I grew up in “Military City, USA” San Antonio Texas, shaped by the structure and regimen of two U.S. Air Force parents. My experience of regularly changing homes and often being the new kid provided me the opportunity to hone my communication and social skills. I enjoyed developing connections with perfect strangers and attribute my ability to connect with people today to my early childhood. My advocacy for others is fed by this connection and I consider it and honor and a privilege to connect with and represent individuals during unique life challenges and transitions.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University at Galveston in Galveston, Texas. I later went on to receive my law degree from Texas Southern University - Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. Upon completion of my degree, I clerked for a District Court Judge in Harris County. My experience as a judicial clerk provided priceless insight into the inner workings of the Court from the other side of the bench and exposed me to a vast array of Civil Litigation.
Following my time of licensing, I practiced family law in Houston for two years and then made my way to Austin in November 2021. I began my time in Austin learning and practicing personal injury with a reputable Austin personal injury firm. I have since refocused my specialty to include complex family law and personal injury civil litigation.
In my personal life I prioritize health, fitness, and personal growth. We can always keep growing and contributing positively to ourselves and our community. I enjoy doing so by helping those who cannot or may not always be available to help themselves.
